League position: 1st Manchester City had not now lost any of their last 54 games in the Premier League games against teams starting the day outside the top four (won 45) since January 2017. David Silva had now scored in three consecutive home games in all competitions for the Citizens for the first time. Sergio Agüero had now scored 18 goals in his last 14 games at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League.
