League position: 2nd Manchester City avoided failing to score in consecutive home games in the Premier League for the first time since November 2010. City had now kept a clean sheet in six of their last seven home games in the Premier League. Aged 26 years and 348 days, Raheem Sterling became the fourth-youngest player to make 300 appearances in the Premier League (98 goals). Manchester City were awarded a penalty after 33 minutes but was reversed after a VAR review due to no foul being committed.
