Comments:

League position: 2nd Victory would have given Manchester City a new club record of ten successive wins in all competitions. City have now failed to win only two of their last 22 home Premier League home games against newly-promoted teams - both against Burnley. They had won the previous 54 Premier League home games when they had a two-goal lead.

Comments:

League position: 19th George Boyd’s goal was his first in a Premier League away game. Burnley's most recent win at Manchester City remains as a FA Charity Shield victory in 1973. They have not won a league game at Manchester City since March 1963.
