Comments:

League position: 4th Liverpool had now won 14 points from losing positions in the Premier League so far in this season; a joint-high with Tottenham Hotspur. The Reds conceded inside the first ten minutes of a Premier League game at Anfield for the first time since 29 August 2015 when Manuel Lanzini scored after three minutes for West Ham United (won 3-0). James Milner made the 600th appearance of his club career in this game. Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp said: "We were not at our absolute best but we fought. I liked it, it is this kind of game we haven't won until now. It feels kind of strange a little bit."

Comments:

League position: 12th Burnley had now taken only two points from their 14 away games so far in this Premier League season. The lowest away points total for a completed Premier League season is three by Derby County in 2007-08. The Clarets had now kept only one clean sheet away from home in the Premier League so far in 2016-17; a 0-0 draw at Manchester United on 29 October 2016. Ashley Barnes had now scored ten goals for Burnley in the Premier League. Only current Liverpool forward Danny Ings (11) had scored more for them. Burnley manager Sean Dyche said: "It's a tough one to take, because everyone gave a really good account of ourselves and went up with a sublime goal, but it's a tough place to come. We just needed a scratch of luck along the way."
