League position: 1st Liverpool had won all of their preceding 17 home games in this Premier League season and all of their last 24 games in the division at Anfield since a 1-1 draw against Leicester City on 30 January 2019. The Reds were now unbeaten in their last 58 home games in the Premier League (scored 150, conceded 33). Excluding own goals, Andy Robertson became the 14th player to score for Liverpool in the Premier League at Anfield so far in this season; only in 1992-93 had more done so (15).

Comments:

League position: 9th Burnley had now lost one of their last 14 games in the Premier League since 19 January 2020 (won seven). Their points total of 26 during this period was only bettered by champions Liverpool (32). The Clarets failed in their attempt to keep clean sheets in three consecutive away games in the top division for the first time since August 1955. Jay Rodriguez had now scored in consecutive games in the Premier League for the first time since April 2018 for West Bromwich Albion.
