Harvey Elliott also played for Queens Park Rangers during his youth career.

He was selected on Fulham's subs bench for the first time on 25 September 2018 in a League Cup tie at Millwall. When he replaced Floyd Ayité after 81 minutes, at 15 years and 174 days, Harvey became Fulham's youngest-ever player.

The previous club record holder was Matthew Briggs who was aged aged 16 years and 65 days when he made his debut against Middlesbrough in the Premier League on 13 May 2007.

In a League Cup tie at Milton Keynes Dons on 25 September 2019, at 16 years and 174 days, Harvey became Liverpool’s second youngest-ever player (after Jerome Sinclair against West Bromwich Albion in September 2012, aged 16 years and six days). It meant he also became their youngest-ever to start a senior game.

His contract at Liverpool was extended to June 2023 in July 2020.
