Comments:

League position: 18th Leicester City completed a run of three Premier League wins in a row for the first time since September 2000 and scored two or more goals in four consecutive Premier League games for the first time since May 2000. In doing so, they moved off the bottom of the table for the first time since 28 November 2014. David Nugent was originally named in the starting line-up before suffering an injury in the pre-match warm-up. Leonardo Ulloa was promoted to the starting XI with Tom Lawrence taking his place on the bench.

Comments:

League position: 8th Swansea City were unbeaten in their preceding three Premier League games. They hadn't gone four Premier League games without a defeat in the same season since January 2013. The Swans remained without a win in their last 11 visits to Leicester City in all competitions. Their last victory there was 3-2 in League Division Two on 28 October 1950. Swansea City had conceded exactly one goal in their last six Premier League games in April so came within minutes of extending the run to seven.
