Only eight goals had been scored in Leicester City’s six previous home games in the Premier League (five scored by the Foxes). The Premier League’s Goal Accreditation Panel ruled on the following: - Leicester City’s goal against Chelsea on Wednesday 29th April 2015 has been confirmed as a Marc Albrighton goal. League position: 1st With four games to play, Chelsea needed three points to clinch their fourth Premier League title in 11 seasons. They had now won their last eight league and cup games against Leicester City, scoring a total of 25 goals. Chelsea were now unbeaten in their last 14 Premier League games (won ten). They had now won four of their last seven Premier League games when they were losing at half-time. This was the first time they had conceded the opening goal in a Premier League game since 28 December when Sadio Mane opened the scoring at Southampton. With his goal in this game, captain John Terry became the joint-highest goalscoring recognised defender in Premier League's history. He was now equal with David Unsworth on 38 goals.
