This was the Foxes' first win in their last seven home games in the Premier League (lost two). Jamie Vardy had now scored 24 of his 60 goals in the Premier League against the top six teams.

The Gunners had now conceded 51 goals in a top division season for the first time since 1983-84 (60) which was also the last time they finished in sixth position.
