This was the fifth time that a team had scored four or more goals in a half so far in this Premier League season; also Manchester City versus Burnley on 20 October 2018 and Southampton on 4 November 2018, and Liverpool versus Arsenal on 29 December 2018 and Crystal Palace on 19 January 2019. They had lost all of the four previous games they had played in 2019 in all competitions.
