Comments:

League position: 12th In a match of very few chances, Kevin Mirallas missed a penalty in the final minute of the first-half. It was his first-ever spot-kick in the Premier League and he took it ahead of Everton's usual penalty-taker Leighton Baines who had scored 15 out of the 16 penalties he had taken in the Premier League. Mirallas was substituted by manager Roberto Marinez at half-time. This was Everton's third consecutive draw in Premier League games at Goodison Park; a sequence they last achieved in October 2009. The Toffees have now gone eight games in all competitions without a win; their worst run since September - October in 2008.

Comments:

League position: 14th Only Queens Park Rangers (five) and Aston Villa (four) have scored fewer goals in their Premier League away games this season (six). West Bromwich Albion's last defeat at Goodison Park was on 30 January 2013 when Leighton Baines scored the winner with a penalty in the 45th minute.
