Comments:

League position: 12th Everton have now completed a run of five consecutive home draws in all competitions for the first time in their history. The club record of four draws in a row in home Premier League games was also equalled (October - November 1999). They have now won none of the last 21 games when they have failed to score in the first half. Everton remain unbeaten in their last 11 meetings with Leicester City (all Premier League) although nine have been drawn.

Comments:

League position: 20th Leicester City remained without a win at Goodison Park since 14 December 1985 when Alan Smith and Gary McAllister scored their goals in a 2-1 victory in League Division One.
