Comments:

League position: 8th Crystal Palace failed in their attempt to equal their club record of six consecutive unbeaten games in the Premier League. The Eagles had now lost each of their last five Premier League London derbies at Selhurst Park. They had now failed to keep a clean sheet in their last 13 Premier League games. Christian Benteke missed a 45th minute penalty by placing the ball high and wide to the right of the goal.

Comments:

League position: 15th This was West Ham United's first away win of the 2016-17 season in any competition. The Hammers scored a first-half goal for only the second time in this Premier League season. Only Southampton had been shown as many red cards as United in the Premier League since the start of the 2015-16 season (six).
