Comments:

League position: 15th Crystal Palace failed in their attempt to equal their club record of four consecutive home wins in the top division (previously in 1989 and 1990). Christian Benteke had now scored three goals in his last four Premier League games, after scoring once in his preceding 13 appearances in the division. Robert Huth's opener was the 200th goal that the Eagles had conceded at Selhurst Park in the Premier League. Crystal Palace manager Sam Allardyce said: "The point feels like a win. It's a tremendous fightback from the players and that wouldn't have happened when I first arrived. It just shows the change of mood of the players."

Comments:

League position: 12th This was the tenth time that Leicester City had scored the opening goal in a Premier League game so far in this season, and the first that they had failed to win. Jamie Vardy had now scored six goals in seven appearances in the Premier League since 27 February. The Foxes had now kept only one clean sheet in their 16 away games so far in this Premier League season. Leicester City manager Craig Shakespeare said: "There is a tinge of disappointment as we just needed to manage the game better after our second goal. We've not got enough of a gap [to the bottom three]. Teams can go on a run, as we've proved, so we need to keep that momentum going."
