Comments:

League position: 10th This equalled Chelsea's heaviest home defeat in the Premier League. Their last 0-3 loss at Stamford Bridge in the league was against Sunderland in 2010. This was the first home Premier League defeat during Guus Hiddink’s two spells in charge (won six and seven drawn). Chelsea had now gone ten home top division league games without a clean sheet. The last time they had such a run was between April and November 1970.

Comments:

League position: 3rd Sergio Aguero scored his seventh hat-trick for Manchester City (fifth in the Pemier League, one in the Champions League and one in the FA Cup). He became the third player on the visiting team to score a Premier League hat-trick at Stamford Bridge after the Arsenal duo of Kanu (23 October 1999) and Robin Van Persie (29 October 2011). Manchester City had now lost only one of their last eight away Premier League games (won four). The Citizens had now won three consecutive Premier League games for the first time since winning the opening five games of this season. Nicolas Otamendi was booked in the first minute of added time in the first half. The Premier League’s Goal Accreditation Panel ruled on the following: - Manchester City’s first goal against Chelsea on Saturday 16th April 2016 has been confirmed as a Sergio Aguero goal.
