Comments:

Final league position 2015-16: 10th Only relegated Aston Villa (two) won fewer home games in the Premier League in this season than Chelsea (five). The Blues conceded 53 goals; their most in a Premier League season since 1996-97 (55). As Guus Hiddink's second spell in interim charge came to an end, Chelsea had won only one of their last seven Premier League games and had gone four league games without a win under the Dutch coach for the first time.

Comments:

Final league position 2015-16: 1st Champions Leicester City - managed by former Chelsea boss Claudio Ranieri - finished ten points ahead of second-placed Arsenal. Only four Premier League champions had won the title by a greater points margin; Manchester United in 1999-2000 (18), Chelsea 2004-05 (12), Arsenal 2003-04 (11) and Manchester United 2012-13 (11). Captain Wes Morgan became only the third outfield player to play in every minute of a title-winning Premier League campaign (also Gary Pallister of Manchester United in 1992-93 and Chelsea's John Terry in 2014-15).
