Comments:

League position: 14th Burnley had now won one of their last five home games in the Premier League (lost two) after winning each of the preceding five. The Clarets would now need one point from their last two games to survive a top division season for the first time since 1974-75. Sam Vokes had now scored three goals in his last three Premier League appearances; the same as in his previous 24 games in the competition. Burnley manager Sean Dyche said: "I'd prefer not to say we are safe until it is 100%, but we are a long way down the road. The team and myself deserve a lot of credit. We have had a few knocks this season but we believe in what we are about. There are teams with more talent but we are a strong unit."

Comments:

League position: 8th Having failed to score in five consecutive league games for the first time in their history, West Bromwich Albion's goal drought ended at 530 minutes. The Baggies avoided losing five consecutive league games for the first time since January 2011. Albion scored more than one goal for the fourth time in their 17 away games so far in this Premier League season. Allan Nyom was booked in the first minute of added time in the second-half. West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Pulis said: "You have to defend well here, Burnley put you under real pressure. People who have been giving us stick don't understand. We will make a massive profit at the end of the season, this club is run very professionally. We have to survive and we do that very well."
