League position: 9th Burnley now occupied a position in the top-half of the Premier League for the first time in their history. The Clarets had now won consecutive home games in the Premier League with a 90th minute winner having never previously acheived this feat in the competition. They had now gained 13 of their 14 points in this season in games played at Turf Moor. Only leaders Chelsea had taken more (15) in home games.
