Comments:

League position: 12th Burnley completed a run of six consecutive home games without defeat in the top division for the first time since September 1975. This was the first time that the Clarets had recovered a point from a losing position in the Premier League since drawing at Chelsea on 21 February 2015. Robbie Brady became the third player to score on his first Premier League start for Burnley after Scott Arfield (against Chelsea on 18 August 2014) and Danny Fox (against West Ham United on 6 February 2010. Burnley manager Sean Dyche said: "Chelsea are a fine side. They are the market leaders for a reason and we limited them to two shots on target and that is tough enough."

Comments:

League position: 1st Despite holding a ten-point lead at the top of the table, Chelsea had now won only one of their four away games in the Premier League so far in 2017. The Blues had now scored the opening goal of the game more times than any other team in this Premier League season (19) and had yet to lose any of them (won 16). They had not now lost a Premier League game played on a Sunday since a 3-0 defeat at Manchester City on 16 August 2015. Chelsea manager Antonio Conte: "Burnley tried to disrupt our play. They played long balls and the second ball is not easy. It is not easy to play against this team. It is very particular. At home they are very tough."
