Comments:

League position: 15th Brighton and Hove Albion remained as the only current team in the Premier League and Football League that had yet to win a game in any competition in 2020. The Seagulls remained without a win in their opening eight league games of a year for the first time since 1998 in League Division 3 (fourth tier). Mat Ryan and Lewis Dunk became the first players to make 100 appearances for Albion in the Premier League. Whilst warming-up as an unused sub, Ezequiel Schelotto was shown a yellow card after 27 minutes for unsporting behaviour.

Comments:

League position: 12th This was Crystal Palace's first win in their last seven away games in the Premier League (lost two). 16 of the Eagles' 28 games so far in this Premier League season had now been goalless at half-time; more than any other team. This was manager Roy Hodgson’s 100th game in the Premier League in charge of Palace (won 34, lost 39).
