With his first goal in his 27th appearance for the club in all competitions, Alireza Jahanbakhsh's opener became the Seagulls' quickest-ever goal in the Premier League (timed at two minutes and 29 seconds). Albion had now won two of their last nine games in the Premier League (lost five). Dan Burn scored after 58 minutes but the goal was disallowed after a VAR review due to an offside decision.
