After a near 20 year wait AS Roma finally win the league. Something that they have threatened to do all season. They have looked far more entertaining then any other side, and they have broken away from the typical Italian football mentality by not resting on a 1-0 lead. They have been a pleasure to watch and the striker Batistuta can finally realise his dream of a Championship medal in Italy. Star of the show today was Totti, a local lad who used to support Roma from the Stands. The match was held up for several minutes when the crowd invaded the pitch, many items of clothing were taken off the players.
