Comments:

League position: 6th Danny Welbeck scored in the first minute of added time in the second half.

Comments:

League position: 9th Nikica Jelavic was selected in the starting line-up but suffered a hamstring injury during the warm-up and was replaced by Abel Hernandez. His place on the bench was not filled so Hull City named only six of a possible seven substitutes. Abel Hernandez scored 32 seconds after the start of the second-half. Mohamed Diame’s goal meant he had scored four goals in five league games for Hull City, more than he netted in his last 25 games for West Ham United.
