Comments:

League position: 3rd This was Arsenal's 100th victory against Everton in all competitions. They have now won seven consecutive home games in the Premier League for the first time since 2005. The Gunners have now lost on only one of the last 32 visits from Everton. That was in January 1996 when Andrei Kanchelskis scored the winning goal at Highbury in the Premier League. The Premier League’s Goal Accreditation Panel ruled on the following: - Arsenal’s second goal against Everton on Sunday 1st March 2015 has been confirmed as a Tomas Rosicky goal. (Circular 22 – 9th March 2015)

Comments:

League position: 14th Everton remained without a win in their last 18 visits to Arsenal in the Premier League. They have now won only one of their last 11 Premier League games. Everton now have 20 fewer points after 27 games than they did at the same stage of the Premier League in the previous season. They have now gone on to lose on 14 of the last 16 occasions that they have trailed Arsenal at half-time. However, this was the first time in their last ten visits to the Emirates Stadium that they were behind at the interval.
