Comments:

League position: 5th Arsenal had now conceded 50 or more league goals in consecutive seasons for the first time since 1983-84 in League Division One. Only Manchester City (19) had now scored more goals in the opening 15 minutes of their games so far in this Premier League season than the Gunners (12). Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang became the sixth player to score 20 or more goals in a Premier League season for Arsenal. Only Manchester United and Liverpool had as many players who had achieved this feat (also six players each). The Gunners had now accrued four points from their last six games in the Premier League.

Comments:

League position: 17th Brighton and Hove Albion had now won two of their last 17 games in the Premier League and had now completed a run of eight consecutive games in the division without a win for the first time. Albion had lost all of their previous 11 away games in the Premier League against the big six opponents (scored two, conceded 23). Glenn Murray scored the 200th goal of his senior club career. It was the Seagulls’ second goal in their last nine games in all competitions.
