Comments:

League position: 1st

Comments:

League position: 6th Gabriele Angella was sent-off after only 26 seconds for a professional foul. However, his subsequent claim for wrongful dismissal was upheld and the red card withdrawn. Angella was also sent-off on Watford's last visit to this ground on 18 January 2014 when the red card was subsequently transferred to Fitz Hall. The club’s appeal for wrongful dismissal was upheld on the basis of mistaken identity. The quickest-ever sending-off from the start of a game in English senior football is believed to be 13 seconds. Sheffield Wednesday keeper Kevin Pressman saw red on the opening day of the 2000-01 League Division 1 season at Wolverhampton Wanderers for handling outside of the area.
