Comments:

League position: 10th AFC Bournemouth had now scored their fifth own goal of the season in the Premier League (a joint-high along with Hull City and Swansea City) after scoring none in the previous season. Lys Moussett became the first player to score an own goal on his first start in the Premier League since fellow Cherry Tyrone Mings at Hull City on 14 January 2017. The Cherries failed in their attempt to keep clean sheets in three consective games in the Premier League for the first time. AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe said: "It means everything to the club to establish ourselves in the Premier League. It is an incredibly tough league as we found this year. We have the same points total as last year so now we are looking to beat that and try and finish in the top 10."

Comments:

League position: 13th Mame Biram Diouf scored Stoke City's first away goal in the Premier League in 629 minutes. The Potters had now won one of their last nine games in the Premier League (lost five). Since making his debut in the Premier League in August 2008, Ryan Shawcross had now scored five own goals. Only Martin Skrtel (seven) and Richard Dunne (six) had scored more in the same period. Stoke City manager Mark Hughes said: "Disappointed not to win but I thought it was a good performance. We had a game plan to frustrate them and it worked. I think their first goal was offside, and we are disappointed the referee did not see fit to send one of their players early off in the game."
