The Eagles had failed to keep a clean sheet in each of their last 21 Premier League away games since the 0-0 draw at AFC Bournemouth on Boxing Day in 2015. At the sixth attempt, this was Palace's first Premier League win under new manager Sam Allardyce. Christian Benteke scored in the second minute of added time in the second-half and was then booked for excessive celebration. Mathieu Flamini replaced Jason Puncheon in the third minute of added time in the second-half.
