Comments:

League position: 19th AFC Bournemouth had now taken four points from their five home games so far in this Premier League season after taking ten points from their last five in 2016-17. The Cherries had now lost seven of their 11 home games in the Premier League against London opposition (won one). They had now failed to score in six of their ten games so far in this Premier League season. AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe said: "These performances can be misleading; they hurt you. It's a crisis in the Premier League when you lose one game. It's a commonly used word. We are concerned, of course we are. We have a key run of games coming up next month, particularly when you look at the games in December. We know this."

Comments:

League position: 4th Chelsea had now won six of their last seven away games in the Premier League (lost one). They avoided losing consecutive Premier League away games for the first time since November 2015. Eden Hazard had now scored five goals in five Premier League appearances against AFC Bournemouth. Chelsea manager Antonio Conte: "I know very well that, in England in this league, there are six top teams, very strong. Four go into the Champions League. Two have to stay out and play Europa League. Today it was important: a good win, also because the other teams all won, apart from Tottenham who lost."
