CONCACAF Gold Cup, 2007

The 2007 Gold Cup was held at six venues across the United States. The tournament continued in the same format as the previous edition. For the first time in a number of years there were no participating guest nations.

Guadalupe put together an impressive run as they reached the semi finals before being knocked out. The Caribbean nation had defeated Honduras in the quarterfinal round. Usual suspects USA and Mexico also progressed to the later stages of the tournament.

They met in the final in Chicago. USA claimed a 2 - 1 victory and won their fourth title equalling Mexico's record. The Americans had won the tournament with a 100% record winning six games out of six.
