Chippo had a disappointing season at Coventry in 2000-01 and eventually lost his place in central midfield following the Worthington Cup defeat by Ipswich in November. Although he featured regularly from the subs' bench he made only one more start and at the time of writing a summer move away from Highfield Road seemed to be on the cards. At his best he has great pace and skill on the ball and is capable of scoring some outstanding goals.
Chippo was made available for transfer by Coventry City in April 2003 before his Sky Blues contract was cancelled by mutual consent in August 2003.
