Having been second-choice 'keeper with French Division Two club Le Mans in the 1999-2000 campaign, Willy joined Millwall in July 2000 as cover for Tony Warner.
He produced some impressive displays in the reserves and eventually made his Football League debut against Bristol Rovers in February.
He is a fine shot stopper who commands his box and did exceptionally well to keep a total of nine clean sheets in 13 senior appearances.
He spent all of 2001-02 as a back up to Warner whose great form restricted his appearances.
Willy joined Swansea City in July 2004 with a one-year contract that was extended to June 2007 in January 2005, then to June 2008 in July 2006.
He joined Milton Keynes Dons in August 2007 with a two-year contract that was extended to June 2011 in December 2008.
