O'Sullivan once again performed consistently for Plymouth Argyle in 2000-01 when he was used either as right wing back or in the centre of midfield. He was a near ever-present although he scored just one goal during the campaign – a header at Home Park in the 1-0 victory over Halifax in January. Wherever he is asked to play O'Sullivan always works hard and shows 100% commitment to the cause. He was voted 'Player of the Year' by the Home Park fans at the end of the season but reportedly turned down a new contract in favour of a move to Australia in the summer.
