Henderson was given special dispensation to sign for Wycombe Wanderers in April 2004 - after the Transfer Deadline - after Steve Williams dislocated a finger and his replacement, Lee Worgan, was recalled by Wimbledon from his loan spell.
The Chairboys' first-choice keeper Frank Talia had been sidelined for several weeks while youth team keeper Tom Gott was also injured.
Henderson joined Brighton & Hove Albion in January 2006 with a contract to June 2008.
He joined Preston North End in January 2007 with a contract to June 2010.
