NationalityEnglish
Weight70 kg
Height1.75 m
PositionMidfielder

Gill joined Tranmere during the 2000 close season and was seen as a natural replacement for Alan Mahon, but after a bright start that brought him three goals he suffered a dip in form and lost his place in November. Although he rarely featured in the second half of the campaign, he worked hard in the reserves to try and win his place back. A skilful and hard-working midfield play maker, he has an excellent turn of speed and is good at creating space in the opposition penalty box.

After moving on to Oldham Athletic, Gill was put on the Boundary Park transfer list in October 2002 before being released in May 2003.
