Won his only Finnish cap in 1999. Has made about 50 appearances for Port Vale. Before joining them he was playing his football in Sweden where he made close to 200 appearances mainly for Hacken. Although Ville was a regular in the Port Vale line-up in the first half of last season he failed to live up to the promise he had shown in the 1999-2000 campaign and struggled to score goals. He then lost his place in the team to newcomer Stephen Brooker and rarely featured after that. A tall and solid striker he was released by Vale in May.
