With West Ham United, 2nd Division Champion 1958. Recommended to Newcastle by Bill McCracken, Vic was a brave centre-forward who was superb in the air. He excelled in the two seasons from 1954 to 1956, notably in the 1955 FA Cup Final victory against Manchester City.
