Troy Deeney, who also played Aston Villa and Chelmsley Town during his youth career, had his contract at Walsall extended to June 2010 in December 2007 and to June 2011 in September 2009.
His contract at Watford was extended to June 2013 in March 2012, to June 2016 in March 2013, to June 2018 in August 2014, to June 2020 in June 2015 and to June 2021 in July 2016.
With his goal against Middlesbrough in the League Championship on 6 April 2015, Troy became the first player to score 20 goals (in all competitions) for Watford in three consecutive seasons.
He joined Birmingham City in August 2021 with a two-year contract.
