Tony Scully

Date of birth12 June 1976
Place of birthDublin
NationalityIrish
Weight75 kg
Height1.73 m
PositionMidfielder

Scully has five Republic of Ireland Youth caps, ten Under-21 caps and one B cap.

He found first-team opportunities very limited at Queens Park Rangers in 2000-01.

He featured briefly in the New Year, making one appearance from the subs' bench and starting in the home match against Watford at the beginning of March, but was otherwise restricted to reserve team football.

A skilful ballwinner, he suffered somewhat due to the fact that the team generally employed more defensive players on the right side of midfield while Scully is essentially a more suited to an attacking role.

After he was released by Cambridge United, Scully joined Peterborough United in August 2003 on non-contract terms.

He moved on to Notts County with a contract to the end of the 2003-04 season that was subsequently extended to June 2006.

He was made available for transfer in August 2005 before his contract was cancelled in January 2006.
