Tom Soares, who is the brother of Reading's Louie Soares, extended his contract at Crystal Palace to June 2009 in May 2005.
It was further extended to June 2010 in August 2006.
He joined Stoke City in September 2008 with a four-year contract.
Tom joined Bury in November 2012 on non-contract terms before agreeing a deal to May 2013 in February 2013 that was extended to to June 2015 in July 2013 and to June 2017 in February 2015.
