This young Southend right back was restricted to just one appearance in the first team last season, coming on from the subs' bench for the closing minutes at Scunthorpe in September. Unable to break into the team at Roots Hall he later spent time on loan with Ryman League club Slough Town. Tom is a big strong defender who can also play in the centre of defence if required. He was released by the Blues at the turn of the year and subsequently joined Barking.
