Thogersen was a regular in the Portsmouth line-up for most of the 2000-01 campaign before being sidelined by a knee ligament injury soon after Graham Rix took over as manager in March. A versatile player who can switch from his midfield role to the right-wing-back position with ease, he did particularly well in October when he scored in three consecutive matches. Experienced and hard working, he possesses a tremendous right foot and has excellent distribution.
