Thierry Small is the nephew of former Aston Villa defender, Bryan Small.
He played for West Bromwich Albion during his youth career.
Aged 16 years and 176 days, Thierry became Everton's youngest-ever player in a senior game when he came on as a substitute in a FA Cup tie against Sheffield Wednesday on 24 January 2021. The previous record holder was Jose Baxter who made his Toffees debut against Blackburn Rovers in the Premier League on 16 August 2008, aged 16 years and 191 days.
He joined Southampton in August 2021 with a three-year contract.
