Douglas was plagued by hamstring problems during the first half of the 2000-01 season and it was not until the new year that he featured regularly for Luton Town.
A hard-working forward who is always willing to chase lost causes, he was badly missed during his absence and made an immediate difference to the strike force on his return.
Douglas was made available for transfer by Boston United in November 2003.
