Steve Watkin

Watkin featured regularly in attack for Swansea City in 2000-01 until he was side-lined in the final weeks firstly with an ankle injury and then with a wrist problem. He is a hard-working striker with good control who is able to hold the ball up to bring his colleagues into play. Although never a prolific goal-scorer he still managed a respectable tally of seven goals in what was a very disappointing campaign for the Swans. Watkin went on the Vetch transfer list in October 2001.
