NationalityEnglish
Weight75 kg

PositionDefender/Midfielder

This experienced defender suffered an early setback in the 2000-01 campaign after suffering a leg injury when playing for Hull City against Plymouth. He soon returned to his familiar left-wing-back role, and settled down to the consistent performances that have been the hallmark of his time at Boothferry Park. Steve was a regular in the Tiger's line-up until the club's financial problems led to him joining Third Division rivals Darlington in February. He slotted in straight away for the Quakers playing on the left hand side either at full back or in midfield where his guile and experience were invaluable. He likes to overlap and link with the forwards and his tricky footwork down the flank contributed a number of goals for the side, but none for himself.
