PositionForward

After being released by Carlisle United at the end of the 1999-2000 campaign Steve began last season at Conference outfit Doncaster Rovers. He then made a surprise return to Brunton Park in October and although he seldom made the same impact as he had in his previous spell he still proved to be a quality performer with the ability to hold the ball and link well with his colleagues. Almost exclusively used from the subs' bench his form improved as the campaign progressed. Steve is a clever striker who is comfortable on the ball. He was placed on the transfer list in January 2002 before being released at the end of the season.
