The former Blackpool midfielder was again affected by niggling injuries in the 2000-01 season.
He was an ever-present in the Tangerines' line-up until injury put him out of action in October and after that he struggled to regain a regular place in the side.
A hard working player, he often made a significant contribution when coming off the subs' bench in the second half of the campaign.
