This experienced midfielder captained York City last season, his leadership and commitment proving significant in the closing weeks of the campaign as the Minstermen pulled themselves clear of the Third Division relegation zone. He scored three goals including a vital 20-yard strike to equalise in the FA Cup replay at Reading that proved to be the springboard for a shock 3-1 victory for the Third Division club. He was released in May.
