Angus was a member of West Ham United's successful Under-19 squad in 1999-2000 and joined Bournemouth on loan at the start of 2000-01 to cover for the injured Eddie Howe.
He gave some promising performances for the Cherries in the early weeks of the campaign but then went down with glandular fever and returned early to Upton Park.
A talented central defender or right back, Angus joined Torquay United in July 2006 with a one-year contract.
